Are you living with HIV?
Would you like to share your life experiences in a new CDC Campaign?
PURPOSE: Be a part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) first campaign focused exclusively on people living with HIV. The campaign will feature people who have not let HIV stop them from doing the things they love or pursuing their hopes and dreams.
ELIGIBILITY: On behalf of the CDC, the American Institutes for Research (AIR) is looking for people living with HIV to participate in a photo shoot, a video shoot, or both. Participants must be comfortable talking about their HIV status for this national campaign. Participants must also currently be receiving medical care and be on HIV treatment. Specifically, they are looking for of men and women ages 20-30 of any race, transgender women of any age/race, and Latinos/as of any age.
BENEFITS: In addition to being featured in a national campaign, participants will help encourage all people living with HIV to engage in care, remain in care, and adhere to HIV treatment in order to improve their overall health and reduce the risk of transmitting HIV to their partners.
COMPENSATION: All photo/video shoot participants will be given a $100 gift card for their participation in the photo/video shoot. All travel associated costs to Atlanta for the photo/video shoot will also be covered by the campaign.
