Interfaith Disability Advocacy Coalition

Revolutionizing disability acceptance within faith communities!

The Interfaith Disability Advocacy Coalition (IDAC) exists to mobilize the religious community to speak out and take action on disability policy issues with Congress, the President and Administration, and society at large.

IDAC is a diverse, nonpartisan coalition of religious and religiously affiliated organizations whose core spiritual values affirm the rights and dignity of people with disabilities.

Member groups include groups representing Islamic, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, and other religious beliefs.

While some religious institutions have promoted inclusion and disability acceptance, others have notoriously excluded and discriminated against disabled people. As such, IDAC is poised to make inroads that are very much needed.
