Dancing for a Cause (DFC) is a nonprofit organization uniting individuals of all ages under one common interest, that is, dance; and through this common interest creating a large student volunteering body to make a larger impact on the community, for the community, and for the world.
DFC supports a number of student-run clubs at different colleges, universities, and high schools, all of which are unique and tailored to their respective campuses. Each DFC club performs at various community functions and events in their local areas to raise funds and support a cause of their choice.
DFC is nondiscriminatory and its members can fund for ANY CAUSE that they choose. In addition to local events, nationally DFC hosts an annual event a traditional event called "BREAKOUT" in which all funds generated by the event are donated to St. Jude's Hospital for Cancer Research.
